About this adventure
This is the day you stack your adrenaline three ways. It starts high, clipped into a steel cable, stepping off a platform and launching out over the rainforest canopy. The ground drops away, the green blurs beneath your boots, and for a few electric seconds you're flying through the same airspace as the toucans, racing line to line across the treetops with the wind tearing past your helmet.
Back on solid ground, you swap the harness for a throttle. Your own four-wheel-drive ATV is fueled and waiting, and the trail ahead is everything you came to Belize for, rutted jungle track, splashing stream crossings, and tight bends through towering broadleaf forest. Rev it up, follow your guide, and bounce your way deeper into the Stann Creek backcountry until the roar of the engine gives way to a different roar entirely: the Mayan King Waterfall, crashing white down a wall of jungle-draped rock.
Kill the engine, peel off your boots, and dive into the cool natural pool at the base of the falls. After a morning of flying and riding, there's nothing better than floating in that mountain-fed water, the spray on your face, the canopy closing in overhead. This is the full-throttle, big-payoff Belize adventure, and you'll have conquered every inch of it yourself.
